Arcane lightning

Arcane lightning is the particular type of magical electricity produced by spells such as Shocking Grasp, Witch Bolt, and Lightning Bolt. It is capable of causing injury and damage in its pure form, commonly channeled through the air as arcs of electricity, but it is also capable of causing other magical phenomena.

The exact behavior of arcane lightning, known as magielectromagnetism, is described by Maximillian's Forms, a set of arcanomathematical equations developed by the Briskainian scholar Maximillian Ajami. The conclusion that can be drawn from the Forms is that while arcane lightning nominally produces powerful charges, magielectromagnetism can be manipulated to produce any arbitrary magical effect. Magielectromagnetism can theoretically be applied to induce teleporation, healing, the creation of barriers, and material transmutation.

SCSI Sataella uses arcane lightning in this capacity to produce magical effects and as a power source.
