Hades
Hades is one of the twenty planes of existence, home of the Undead and ruled over by the now deceased Voblat the Rotten. It is composed of three layers, called Glooms: Oinos, Niflheim, and Pluton. The Gash between the Material Plane and Hades is accessible from the twenty-second district of Mas'o Leem.
In 101 AL, the lord Uisper led an offensive of Petitioners and slayed Voblat the Rotten.
Glooms
The first layer of Hades is named Oinos, and is a pestilent land full of diseased and dying life. It was ruled by Anthraxus, the goat-man lieutenant of Voblat, but he was slain by Uisper. In the middle of Oinos is an elevator shaft which grants passage to the second layer.
The second layer of Hades is named Niflheim, and it is a wintry land covered in snow and ice. It is inhabited mainly by poor villagers, and bands of sailing pirates that pillage them on a regular basis. Niflheim is ruled by the Serpent of Rime, Nidhogg. The passage to the third Gloom is located at the bottom of the Well of Hvergelmir.
The third and deepest layer of Hades is named Pluton. Much of Pluton is taken up by Plutos, the shifting city ruled by Voblat the Rotten.
